RESERVATIONS:
16% for SC, 7½% for ST in all fresh admissions and 3% horizontal reservations for physically handicapped are reserved. In the event of these quotas remaining unfilled, the seats will be de-reserved.
SPECIAL PROVISIONS
The following categories of children will be admitted over and above the class strength:

Children and dependant grandchildren of Hon’ble Members of Parliament. (based on a letter from Member of Parliament)

Children and grandchildren of serving and retired KVS employees.

Children of recipients of Param Veer Chakra, Veer Chakra, Ashok Chakra, Kirti Chakra and Shourya Chakra.
-
Children of recipients of President’s Police Medal for gallantry and Police Medal for gallantry.
-
Meritorious sports persons who have secured I, II, III position in SGFI/CBSE/National/State level games organized by the Government.
-
Recipients of Rashtrapati Puraskar in Scouts & Guides.
-
Children of Central Government employees who die in harness.
-
Children who are recipients of National Bravery Award or of Balshree Award instituted by National Bal Bhawan.
-
Children whose parent is a teacher and is a recipient of National Award for teachers
-
Children who have them special talent in Fine Arts and have been reorganized at the National or State level
Admissions in Kendriya Vidyalayas are not restricted to Central Govt. Employees and are open to all, only certain priorities had been laid down as per which children of different categories would receive priority in admission.
Registration for fresh admission commerce from 1st week of February, Admission would be done up to 31st of July
Admission Tests for classes II to IX For fresh admission to Classes II to IX, an admission test will be conducted and admissions given as per merit within the priority category to which the parent belongs. A candidate should score 35% in each subject and 40% in the aggregate. The tests will be conducted in the following subjects: |

The test will be of the level of the Annual Examination of the class preceding the one to which admission is sought, i.e., Admission Test for class VII will be of the level of the Annual Examination of Class VI.
The Vidyalaya does not make available to the applicants any sample question papers, text books or syllabus. The parents are required to make their own arrangements based on the Kendriya Vidyalaya pattern of studies.
No admission will normally be allowed in classes X. However the Assistant Commissioner may consider the case subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:

The parent has been transferred during the current session.

The child has been in the same course of studies in a CBSE affiliated school.
- The child has obtained not less than 50% marks in class IX.
