Kendriya Vidyalaya, Malleswaram, located at the heart of the much- happening Bangalore city, has a magnificent building with a state-of-the art infra structural facilities. The building houses spacious classrooms, well-equipped science labs, primary Resource room, and well-stocked library with a host of other facilities.

Since its inception on 4th July 1966, KVM got into its stride, and marched towards glory. Embracing the vision of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, the institution has established itself as one of the top centers of excellence in KVS.

The school has a three section system for classes I to X, and two sections for XI & XII (science stream) with 1613 students and 56 staff members as on 31.10.06.

We cater to the needs and aspiration of all levels of learners. The devotion of the staff, support by the parent community, and the guidance by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan facilitate students to attain academic proficiency and acquire skills, which will equip them to face the future with confidence and dignity. We have been producing qualitative results in classes I - IX & XI and in the Board classes X & XII (CBSE).

Ample opportunities are provided to students to participate in inter-school competitions organized at various levels ranging from from district to international. To name a few: Science and Maths Olympiad, Youth Parliament, KVS sports & social Science meet, science exhibition, Royal common wealth Essay competition etc. Awards and accolades are no stranger to KVM.
