UKIERI a unique initiative which reaches out to a large academic communication in
both India and United Kingdom. it contributes to the strengthening of
economic ties between India and United Kingdom of which education is a key part.
IT aims to substantially improve educational links between India and United
Kingdom, ensuring in the longer term we become each other's partner of choice in
Education. The school strand of UKIERI aims to forge strategic
partnerships in education and facilitate design and development of joint
curriculum projects. Clusters of schools in India and United Kingdom shall
receive a grant of £ 25000 for a period of 3 years. the contact
seminar in September 2007 at United Kingdom provided opportunities for the
cluster representative to meet their partners and agree on a broad project
outline for their joint curriculum projects for the next 3 years.
